    An empirical review of the knowledge, availability and usage of school records by Teachers of primary schools in Nigeria

    Has Jesuit and Marist education produced Democratic Political Leaders in Zambia?

    This paper presents the findings of a quantitative survey conducted between 1996 and 1997, examining the influence of the Jesuit and Marist education systems on Zambia's political environment. The study sample included 29 former students from Canisius, St. Paul’s, and Chassa Secondary Schools, employed at the University of Zambia, as well as 50 pupils from the same institutions. While the results indicated a link between the reintroduction of the multiparty system and missionary education, they also revealed other key factors, such as the collapse of communism in the Soviet Union, Zambia’s economic challenges, and the broader wave of political change sweeping across Africa.

    Physical Self-Efficacy Level of Selected Nigerian Soccer Players

    The study explored the relationship between physical self-efficacy (PSE) and performance in physical activities. A sample of 43 participants, randomly selected from soccer clubs in Nigeria and the general population, was used. Results revealed that soccer players had an average score of 89.96 on the overall PSE scale, which was higher than the Nigerian national average of 83.16, as outlined in the test manual. The analysis found significant differences between soccer players and non-players on the PSE scale. Overall, the study highlighted that physical self-efficacy is a crucial psychological factor for success in soccer.

Specifically, the article examines how these statistics can be effectively integrated into Mathematics lessons to encourage critical reflection and support the cross-curricular inclusion of HIV & AIDS education in South Africa.
